To encourage civic agriculture in Wyandotte County, the KCKFM collaborates with organizations and farmers to assist in the distribution and acceptance of food assistance programs like SNAP (food stamps), Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB), Kansas Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) and the Market match for SFMNP as well as El Centro Bucks.​
